This Thai lady, goes round calling herself Ploy. Her official name on the passport is Bhudbhoy Tankham. Though mOerely 25 of age, she is a professional con-artist with many tricks up her sleeves. She may appear innocent, but she is far from being one. Nothing she says bespeaks truth. She has gone around giving people the impression she is from wealthy family. However, she has owed people lots of money by crafty means and disappeared before making repayment as promised. She owed us more than S$20k and promised to pay back within October 2013, but she has disappeared since 13 October. To gain our trust, she had given us her invalid passport (cancelled but concealed with her embarkment/immigration card insert in front of the word cancelled) as collateral etc. She used to stay at The Rochester (33 Rochester drive #08-28) and drove a BMW (car plate SJZ1186K) which we now believe are rental car and rented condo, which she claimed bought by her rich parents as investment to allow her to apply for her PR status. Her sporean boyfriend, Boo W Y works for a well known advertising agency as art director. When we called the bf to ask for her whereabout, he claimed they are no longer together....we are not sure if its true as of date, her photos still remain on his Facebook pages. He claimed she also owed him about S$30k. We understand she owed another Thai friend, Nuna more than S$70k and she is also looking for her. Ploy had given us a bounced cheque, collaterals such as cancelled passport, debit card, ATM card and signed agreement letter for assurance of repayment, but nothing come to pass till date. Before she disappeared, she will show up everyday in front of us to show us she is sincere and give assurance she will pay us back the money. She just needed time for her parents to wire her money from thailand. Everyday for about a week, she has different stories to delay her repayment. eg. She claimed that she has name changed before, she needed her friend to fly in from thailand to pass her papers to prove her previous name before she can collect the parcel from the post office. Another day, she will ask us to give her time to inform her Relationship manager about the cheque she issued, since her cheque book was lost before etc. We have reported her to authority. We have given many chances for Ploy to make good her promises instead of reporting her, apparently she has no qualms of breaking any laws. By committing fraud and cheating, she was determined to challenge our law enforcers in her brazen acts. We like to appeal to the public to help us to locate her so we can bring her to justice and stop her going around cheating others. .... i am attaching here some of the pictures she took with her bf and their friends so you can recognise her. We also like to seek any additional info about her eg. her parents contact and address in thailand, if possible. We knew from her facebook page that she was a alumnus of the Assumption University in Thailand. She might not used her current name during her study le.
